State of the league 8/30

Today's a week on the nose the games been out and Thursday is the first football game. I don't see a reason to start the league now after waiting so long, give it a day or two and we will see what's up then.

Personally I rather get the rosters as close to real life as possible. If we started the league with default shipping rosters Tim Tebow would be throwing passes in a Patriots uniform and a lot of other player transactions and a few real life trades would be missing. Maybe that doesn't bother some of you but I know myself as a fan of my team/nfl I would like to get it close as it gets. We can't force owners to cut certain players ethier that's just dumb.

Anyways if worse comes to worse and there is no news on a roster update by Friday im going to look into finding a custom roster with the right player transactions. I actually been looking though them, problem is people have a habit of tinkering with stats on them.

if we don't do a preseason that'd be most realistic. but if we do preseason, we should start with preseason rosters. that's just an opinion, though.

At this point the only reason why were going to have a preseason is for a free agency draft and to get all the owners in the league. I'm right there with you cawda preseason won't take us that long at all to go through

If you read his twitter feed you'll see we are getting a "massive" roster update sometime between now and Sunday with another to follow the next week. The waiting game is almost over

I heard the rosters are up! via Donny Moore's twitter.

They are alive, by 5est I should have text messages, psn message and a detailed forum post setup. Stay frosty!
