State of the league 8/30

NFL roster cuts have a deadline of Saturday at 6pm eastern. At the very least I'm crossing my fingers for a roster update Sunday night and at the latest Monday night. No matter what we are looking at creating the league and getting the action going next week finally!

With that being said its time to address free agency.

NO ONE IS TO SIGN ANY FREE AGENTS UNTIL AFTER OUR FREE AGENCY DRAFT

What we will be doing is dedicating preseason week 2 to doing a free agency draft. It's going to be very simple and fair. When your team is on the clock you have one hour to reply to me via text, on these forums or our chatbox who you want. If you fail to do so you are skipped.

Now I obviously don't have a date or time for that yet but I have the order ready to go below.

Again please do not sign any free agents once the league starts, I can't stress that enough. After the draft it's free game all year long. Once we start the league check back in the announcements area for more info on how and when this draft will go down.

Yep going to dedicate a day to it with time slots. Really shouldn't be to hard I got a format for it that I think will simplify things a lot.

Yeah time slots are the best. I used them in my old league.

i read somewhere that they are either going to do it tomorrow, or wait until the first game of the season is played so there is an official roster for each team.

it isnt the overalls that we r worried about its about the NFL teams cutting and signing players to their teams so we want all the teams to have the players that they have

arn't we going to go through the preseason also? we should be able to make those roster cuts ourselves just like a normal preseason
