Coach Mike Ditka at his introductory press conference:
"First off i'd like to thank everyone for coming and thank you to GM Jeff Ireland for hiring me. Now as for my plan this year, I want to build a winning culture here,years of mediocrity are over we are gonna compete this year and compete hard , with these new additions Jeff brought in(see above) I believe we can challenge the Pats for the AFC Crown and take down fairy boy Tom Brady, but that's not what i'm shooting for the goal for this team is a super bowl anything less is a disappointment, i'd also like to announce I will coaching from the sidelines in a golf cart, I can't walk what Can I say."


On being asked if he put pictures of this up around the dolphins facility Coach Ditka responded:
