Introduction + Sliders question

Hey guys, I'm Dawks.  Long time SIM player.  That's the only way to play in my book.  I've got the Eagles! Can't ever play anyone else. It feels disloyal to me.  That's just me.  I'm 29, Married, and have plenty of free time to play.   I've got my phone 24/7 so text whenever for trades or scheduling.

I do want to ask though, Can we post the sliders?  I know it says custom, but the sliders page is blank and has the wrong quarter length.  I'm just curious as to what we are gonna be dealing with.  I know some SIM leagues say custom sliders and then leave them default and adjust DPI and OPI, lol.  You guys seem like you know what's good so i'm excited about the league.  Thanks!

I work from home so I can get on just about anytime I want to within reason.

I was also wondering if we will use the groupme app to stay in communication with each other.

I will be posting the sliders now , sorry the for the hold up just had to figure a few things out. Yes we will be making a group me as well as sending out invites to the league. By the the sliders are not set in stone so if you have any suggestions or complaints please let us know thanks.

No worries. Just had a big discussion about them in another league but those guys aren't really into "SIM" as they claim. Did a bunch of research on the M15 sliders and they just shut me down. Had no interest in listening at all. lol. What can you do.

Were going to throw the league up later tonight most likely sometime around 8-9 eastern. Right now were at 17/32 users, that's enough to push the league into preseason. You guys can play against the CPU or each other to get a feel for the sliders... anything you don't like just let us know.

Groupme was never planned but since there seems to be an interest we can go ahead with it. When I send out a text later tonight I'll try to collect everyone's groupme info. Also I'll make a post on the site under announcements that gives a better idea of what's going on, free agency and ect.

Welcome by the way, things might seem a little disorganized until we get the ball started but we will get things ironed out.

This is pretty organized compared to most others i've seen this year, honestly. Yeah those guys, the leader basically just did what he thought was right and had already decided he knew more than most. He basically took my research as an insult, taking it as he didn't know what he was doing. I tried explaining that there is no "correct set" and to just look at the info. He wasn't interested. Oh well. You don't have to be open minded on the internet haha.

I'm very excited to try these sliders. I've not seen defense react time up that high with the coverages up high also. However, there are reports that raising DPI has an effect on WR awareness. So its possible these will work real well together. Can't wait to give it a shot. I'm glad Speed Threshold is low. I've played 0-50 and the closer to 50 it is, the less speed matters at all. I wish EA would just release a SIM slider set. They would know better than us. I'll be free all day today so as soon as it's up, i'm ready to try out the sliders in the Preseason. Thanks guys!
